Ahead of the T-Mobile debut of the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One, the carrier is cutting the price of the BlackBerry Z10.

The Z10 is available now for $99.99 upfront, the same price T-Mobile has been charging since it released the phone. But the monthly payments have dropped from $20 to $18, lasting for two years. That means the total cost for the Z10 drops from $580 to $532 over two years.

That's a good deal, considering T-Mobile's monthly plans don't require contracts. If you don't like the service, you can pay off the rest of the phone and T-Mobile will unlock it for you so you can take it to any other carrier.

Of course, since T-Mobile just announced an iPhone trade-in program that reduces the upfront cost of an iPhone 5 to $0, there are other options available. The iPhone 5 debuts on T-Mobile Apr. 12.

Reviews of the Z10 have been mostly positive, citing its innovative gesture-based navigation system and the reintroduction of BlackBerry Messenger. In addition, the new BlackBerry 10 operating system marks a departure for the company, pitting it directly against Google's Android, Apple's iOS and the Windows Phone OS in a battle for market share.

BlackBerry has said the Z10 is the most successful smartphone launch in company history, a trend they hope continues as it becomes available in its largest market. Shortly after its U.S. release, the Z10 made it onto Amazon.com's Top Seller product list.

The BlackBerry Z10 features a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 plus processor, 2GB of RAM, a 4.2-inch 1280x768 display, an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video, 16GB of internal storage, an SD card slot and runs the newly revamped BlackBerry 10 operating system.
