The HTC One will be available from both AT&T and Sprint Apr. 19.
Pre-orders for HTC's flagship phone begin Apr. 4 for AT&T and Apr. 5 for Sprint.
Both carriers will offer a 16GB One for $199.99 with a two-year contract. The 32GB version runs $50 more, and the 64GB version will be available only from AT&T and will cost $299.99.
The HTC one has been eagerly anticipated since its debut early this year, but the company has had trouble sourcing components for the One's new UltraPixel cameras. Industry insiders say HTC is no longer considered a "tier one" company after its unreliable order history during a sales slump last year.
The delays mean the HTC One will be out only a little more than a week before the Samsung Galaxy S4 hits the market. HTC has been trying to break back into the smartphone market currently dominated by Apple and Samsung, and the One was meant to grow the company's market share, now below 5 percent.
But the Galaxy S4 is sure to be a popular phone, Its predecessor, the Galaxy S3, became the only smartphone to ever outsell the iPhone, and Samsung is putting its considerable marketing muscle behind it.
While the HTC One has received many good reviews and customers are eager to get their hands on it, the Galaxy S4 is sure to cut into its sales. The One also lacks the market penetration of the S4, and will only be available from AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. A Verizon version is still up in the air.
The HTC One features a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 4.7-inch 1920x1080 pixel widescreen Super LCD 3 display, a 2300 mAh Li-Po battery, a 4-megapixel "Ultrapixel" camera with enhanced low-light sensitivity with 1080p HD video, up to 64GB of internal storage and runs Android 4.1.2.
