The small but steady stream of information concerning Grand Theft Auto 5 continues, as it appears that Rockstar Games is releasing the box art to the game in a very unique fashion. The developers have decided to make a mural of the box art in New York City, with Ubergizmo showing an incomplete rendering of the mural, with artists working on finishing the mural.

The mural's location is unknown at this time, but it is somewhere in on the island of Manhattan. The box art for the game was originally slated to be revealed in January, but delays have pushed back the reveal until now. This way Rockstar gets a new, interesting way of sharing the game's art to the world, and lots of publicity in the coming months before the game's release. There is also no word on when the mural will be finished, as it currently appears less than halfway to completion.

Despite Rockstar saying that they were going to stay quiet in the months before the game's release, for fear of spoiling anything for gamers, it has been a fairly busy week for Rockstar. The developer announced that it would release Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City and Vice City Stories on the PlayStation Network, and several new screenshots of Grand Theft Auto 5 showcasing scuba diving and other in-game activities were revealed.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is one of the most anticipated games in the world, despite being a little less than six months away from release. Gamers can look forward to exploring all the different areas in and around Los Santos on September 17 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Fans of Grand Theft Auto 5 in New York will soon have a chance to show their love for the game by traveling to the mural and taking in the box art for the game themselves.
