Logitech has launched two keyboards to accompany Apple's iPad tablets.
A keyboard has been provided for the iPad mini, known as the "Keyboard Folio mini." The keyboard protects both sides of the 7.9-inch tablet while offering up to three months worth of battery life - based on an average use of two hours per day.
The keyboard and cover can also transform as a hands-free view stand, and can power-off when covering the screen.
With Bluetooth included, the Logitech cover is available in Mystic Blue and Electric Blue, however, the company does note the color availability may vary based on region or country.
The Keyboard Folio mini is priced at $89.99. To pre-order, click here.
The iPad mini includes a 7.9-inch LED-backlit display, rear-facing 5-megapixel iSight camera, Bluetooth version 4.0, FaceTime HD front-facing camera, up to 10 hours for battery life, and a an A5 chip.
Logitech does offer the Keyboard Folio for the regular-sized iPad for $99.99. The cover for the 9.7-inch iPad features more color options, including black, pink, yellow, and the Electric Blue. Similar to the iPad mini version, color options may vary based on country and region.
Apple is reportedly set to ship 55 million iPad mini units during 2013. According to NDP DisplaySearch, the iPad mini's demand is eclipsing the 9.7-inch iPad. Initially, the regular-sized iPad was to sell 60 million units compared to the iPad mini's 40 million units. NDP DisplaySearch believes the figures will reverse.
Overall, the tablet market is expected to sell 254 million units during 2013, up 94 million from the 160 million units sold in 2012.
