The BlackBerry Z10 is finally available in the United States, and the embattled phone manufacturer looks like it might be making a comeback.

The Z10 is currently in the top 10 on Amazon's Best Sellers list, reflecting the anticipation surrounding the release of the phone in BlackBerry's largest market.

An unlocked version of the phone currently has a rating of 4.5 stars out of 5 from 34 reviewers on the website of the internet mega-retailer. The Z10 has received generally positive reviews from the tech media, as well as rave reviews from consumers eager to try out a new generation of BlackBerry phones powered by the revamped BlackBerry 10 operating system.

Earlier sales in the UK and Canada were strong, with several retailers reporting they sold out of their stock of Z10s within days. An unnamed retailer in the United States purchased 1 million Z10s several weeks ago in preparation for the phone's launch.

It is currently available on AT&T, and the T-Mobile release is scheduled for tomorrow. It will hit Verizon on Mar. 28.

Sprint initially said it would not carry the Z10, opting instead to wait for the QWERTY keyboard-enabled BlackBerry Q10, which is more similar to the more traditional style of BlackBerry phones, long known for cramping thumbs with their tiny physical keyboards.

But rumors say Sprint plans to release a "version 2.0" of the Z10 later this year. Indeed, BlackBerry has announced it plans to release three or four more phones this year aimed at different markets, each with their own all-touch and keyboard-enabled versions.

The BlackBerry Z10 features a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 plus processor, 2 GB of RAM, a 4.2-inch 1280x768 display, an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p HD video, 16 GB of internal storage, an SD card slot and runs the newly revamped BlackBerry 10 operating system.
