The HTC One is gearing up for an Android update.
The new HTC smartphone is not widely available yet, and when it does become available, it will feature Android mobile operating system version 4.1, part of the Jelly Bean brand. However, a tweet apparently tells the next Android Jelly Bean version is on its way.
According to Twitter user @LlabTooFeR, the Android version 4.2.2, still under the Jelly Bean, will come in one to two months.
LlabTooFeR's comments was a response to Rage06, who asked if the HTC One was going to receive Android 4.2.2 or jump ahead to the Key Lime Pie brand of the Android platform.
@rage06 It will get update in 1-2 months...

News of the future update comes as the HTC One's release date was pushed back. As Latinos Post reported, the phone manufacturer is struggling to source enough components for the smartphone.
"HTC has had difficulty in securing adequate camera components as it is no longer a tier-one customer," an unnamed HTC source told The Wall Street Journal.
The Wall Street Journal report added that HTC CEO Peter Chou has received pressure to resign from his position if the HTC One fails to meet expectations.
HTC is relying on the upcoming smartphone to make an impact in the market currently dominated by Apple's iPhone and Samsung's Galaxy S series. The production delay would put the HTC One in direct competition with the upcoming Galaxy S4.
The HTC One features a screen size of 4.7-inches with 1,920x1,080 pixels at 468 pixels per inch. The memory of the HTC smartphone includes 32GB and 64GB internal storage models, each with 2GB of RAM. A microSD card slot is not available with the phone. Pending on the market, the device has NFC as well as the custom Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and 'ac' WLAN. A four-megapixel rear-facing camera with 2,688x1,520 pixels is included while the front-facing camera has 2.1-megapixels. The HTC One holds 2,300mAh battery capacity and is available in black, red, and silver color variants.
