Blizzard has announced that they will be showing off the PlayStation 3 version of Diablo 3 at the PAX East conference. Blizzard promises that it will show off the features unique to the console version of the game with a hands-on demo at the conference. In a statement released to Ubergizmo, the company details the changes fans can expect to explore for the console version of the game.

"Our action-packed single-player hands-on demo will showcase several key elements that make Diablo III on the PS3 so much fun, including a reimagined interface and inventory system, direct character control, updated camera, and bosses and monsters specifically tuned for console."

Diablo 3 is already out for the PC, but the PlayStation 3 version of the game needed extra time to configure the game to the console. The game will be exclusive on consoles to the PlayStation 3. PC gamers will not be able to play cross-platform with PlayStation 3 owners, however.

Blizzard will be very active at the PAX East conference. The company is also suppose to be announcing a brand-new game at the conference, which is rumored to be the long-awaited Blizzard All-Stars. PAX East will be held in Boston from March 22-24. Now it appears that Blizzard will be able to show off the DOTA- inspired game, as well as Diablo 3 to conference goers.

Many have been curious as to how the PC dungeon crawler would translate to consoles, considering that the game had to have a massive redesign so that PlayStation 3 owners could navigate the game as well as those with keyboards and mouse. Readers can expect more updates from PAX East as the event unfolds over the weekend.
