Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S2, And Galaxy Note Android Update: 15 Samsung Devices To End With Android 4.2.2 As Android 5.0 Is Expected On A Few (Rumor)

It will be the end of the road for 15 Samsung devices, if a report proves accurate.

Making the Android rounds are reports that Android version 4.2.2 update will be the last update for a grocery list of Samsung Galaxy devices as Samsung and Google move on to the next Android platform.

Although subject to change, the following Samsung devices should be ending their update regiment with the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update:

- GT-I9080: Galaxy Grand

- GT-I9082: Galaxy Grand DUOS

- GT-I8160: Galaxy Ace 2

- GT-I8190: Galaxy S III mini

- GT-I8350: Galaxy Beam

- GT-I8730: Galaxy Express

- GT-I9070: Galaxy S Advance

- GT-I9100: Galaxy S II

- GT-I9105: Galaxy S II Plus

- GT-I9260: Galaxy Premier

- GT-N7000: Galaxy Note

- GT-S6310: Galaxy Young

- GT-S6312: Galaxy Young DUOS

- GT-S6810: Galaxy Fame

- GT-S7710: Galaxy X Cover 2

The news of the Galaxy S2 ending with Android 4.2.2 comes as a Jelly Bean update was provided for the Galaxy S2 last week through U.K. carrier Vodafone. The update, however, was for Android 4.1.2, meaning it still awaits an additional update before Samsung moves on.

While the above-mentioned devices might no longer get Android updates over version 4.2.2, the following are allegedly scheduled for Android 5.0:

Android 5.0 has not been formally announced by Google.
