The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, has received a new patch for the PC. Version 1.9 adds new features to the game to keep old players playing the game, while fixing some bugs that have frustrated players. The console version of this patch is expect sometime in March, though the exact date is unknown.

The big draws of 1.9 is the addition of the legendary difficulty. Now players who have already beaten the game have yet another tier of difficulty to conquer as they explore the vast areas of the game. In addition, players now have the option to upgrade to legendary skills. Once a player has upgraded a skill to 100, they can then chose to made that skill legendary, resetting the skill to 15 and return the perks the player receives. Doing this allows the skill to affect the players overall level once again. This makes it so players can continuously level up without getting stuck with a level cap.

In addition, this patch will fix many bugs that affect gameplay. The full list of bugs the new patch will fix can be found on IGN. Given the game's notorious amount of bugs, any sort of measure to get them fixed is appreciated by gamers, unless they enjoy making videos of the somewhat goofy occurrences that they cause.

This news comes on the last day that Playstation 3 owners can download the Dawnguard DLC for fifty percent off the regular price. PC gamers can download this patch immediately off of Steam. PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Owners will be able to go legend(wait for it)dary by the end of the month.
