The price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has been discounted across the board when purchased through Amazon Wireless.
Galaxy Note 2s for AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon consumers are all available, but it is the penultimate carrier variant offering the better price.
New Sprint customers signing onto either an individual account or family account can purchase the Galaxy Note 2 through Amazon Wireless with a price tag of $99.99.
In comparison to rival carriers, AT&T and Verizon is offering the Galaxy Note 2 to new customers signing either individually or with a family account, for $199.99.
The roles are reversed for existing customers of either carrier wanting to buy the Galaxy Note 2.
Verizon offers the cheapest price among the three major carriers. Existing Verizon customers who want to upgrade their phone - regardless if in an individual or family account - will see a price of $199.99. The price remains the same if the customer wants to add a line to a family account.
The prices increase with AT&T and Sprint, but between the two, it is AT&T that offers one for $10 cheaper.
AT&T offers their existing customers a $239.99 price tag if they want to upgrade their phone or add a new line in either an individual or family account. Sprint's model goes for $249.99 for existing customers wishing to upgrade their phone.
A Sprint Galaxy Note 2 can be had for $169.99 if the customer wants to add a line to a family account. The offer is not available for an individual account.
If the buyer wants to purchase the Galaxy Note 2 as a replacement phone (phone only and no contract changes), prices increase heavily.
AT&T offers the highest price with $749.99, while Verizon sells the Samsung device for $699.99 as Sprint offers it $50 less at $649.99.
The Galaxy Note 2 features a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED Plus display with 4G LTE connectivity, Android version 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 16GB of internal storage with 2GB of RAM, rear-facing camera with 8 megapixels, front-facing camera with 1.9 megapixels, 3,100mAh battery, and NFC capabilities.
