The Mobile World Congress (MWC) gathers many different tech leaders from around the world, including carrier executives, innovators, creators, and more. This year's MWC in Barcelona is no different.
The MWC is kicking off the annual event with daily keynote programs based on specific themes.
Monday, Feb. 25, saw two themes for the keynotes: Industry Perspective - Mobile Operator Strategies followed by Vertical Disruption.
Tues., Feb. 26 will have an additional two keynote themes: Connecting the Next Billions to the Internet and Future of Communications.
Wed., Feb. 27 will feature Operating the Cloud and Mobile in Media keynote sessions.
The final day of the MWC will have one theme but the length of two sessions. The Thursday session is Mobile as a Platform for Innovation.
So far, the MWC has scheduled 27 keynote speakers:

The keynote sessions will provide of particular interest as it could see confirmations by executives of latest devices and contracts. For instance, Nokia's CEO Elop made his company's presence known just as the Nokia Lumia 720 and Lumia 520 were confirmed leading into the first day of MWC. The introduction of China Mobile Chairman Xi Guohua could see talks about a partnership between his carrier network and Apple's iPhone 5.
