Samsung's next flagship smartphone is looking like it will be the new Android industry standard - if all the rumors about it end up coming true. The latest states that the Galaxy S4 will be equipped with 5G Wi-Fi, making it one incredibly blazing beast through wireless networks.
The 5G chipset in question is the Broadcom BCM4335, which offers FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0 in the same package.

"The Broadcom BCM4335 is said to be implemented on the Galaxy S4, after a set of verification tasks will be completed, said Patrick Wang from Evercore Partners. He added that some checks have already been made and the results indicate that the combo chip be included on the next flagship smartphone of the South Korean manufacturer namely the Samsung Galaxy S4."
As usual with pre-launch details, all of this needs to be taken with a grain of salt. If another report is to be believed, Samsung will hold a Samsung Mobile Unpacked event on March 14 at which the company should reveal the Galaxy S4 to the public. Only then will we know what the Galaxy S4 is really all about.
The device is said to sport a similar form factor to the Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet, and come with a 5-inch 1080p Full HD display. Underneath the hood, it should be equipped with a quad-core Exynos 5440 processor and 2GB RAM. Expect there to be some variation in this across different models released in different regions (i.e. U.S. variants against Asian models). A 13-megapixel camera and Android 4.2 are said to round out the device.
The handset is also expected to introduce some novel features such as eye scrolling and touchless gesturing.
