iOS owners have reported a few issues found in the latest sixth version of the Apple mobile operating system.

iPhone 4S owners with the iOS 6.1.1 version have reported battery problems. The topic was discussed in a thread titled "My iPhone 4S battery life is terrible, Even with iOS 6.1.1" in Apple's Support Communities.

Jackprentice2007 created the thread, and he wrote, "I'm on my 6th 4S handset since summer 2012! Last night (11/2) I updated my phone with iOS 6.1.1 and the battery life is worse than ever before! All apps are fully closed down, Wifi/Bluetooth are turned off! Screen brightness is down to 18 [percent]. I've no e-mail accounts set up! Location services are switched off."

Subsequent iPhone 4S owners posted similar stories:

johns1966: "I'm having the same problem. The battery life on my iPhone 4S was fine with iOS 6.1, but is depleting quickly with 6.1.1. The iPhone is now constantly warm. I would normally go get home and have about 65% charge, it is barely 2 hours into the day and the phone is aleady at 65 [percent]."

mbrot008: "I'm fed up with Apple and their nonsense. [iOS] 6.1.1 made things worse, now my email just hands up, especially Gmail. I have deleted and re-added the account to no avail. Even Exchange will just hang minutes trying to send or get messages. Also causing worse battery life. You suck apple. Stop trying to make the coolest products and just make something that works, like you used to."

leetut: "My battery life is worst it's ever been now, thank you apple!!! Also my o2uk 4s on 6.1.1 is very hot after charging overnight, it has never been like this, device is 14 months old, new battery is 1 month old. My first and last iPhone..."

Another issue that has been brought up with the iOS 6 is the passcode. It was documented, with video provided, by Jailbreak Nation on how to bypass the lock screen.

Apple has addressed the issue with AllThingsD reporting Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller stating, "Apple takes user security very seriously. We are aware of this issue and will deliver a fix in a future software update."

iOS 6 users should expected updates in the incoming weeks, and Latinos Post will monitor the progress.
