An odd looking smartphone in a Dutch advertisement has caught the attention of smartphone enthusiasts.
The Lumia 920, the current flagship smartphone for Nokia, premiered a new advertisement about a boy communicating his adoration to a girl through his Windows Phone 8 Lumia 920 smartphone.
However, around 5 seconds in the advertisement, a wild odd looking smartphone appeared.
Unlike the Lumia 920, which is basically a rectangle, the odd looking smartphone five seconds into the advertisement featured curved edges. This has perplexed many smartphone fans.
The ad, for Dutch carrier KPN, shows a different Lumia smartphone. According to MyNokiaBlog, the curvy edged smartphone is not the Lumia 620, Lumia 610, Lumia 710, or the Lumia 820.
"The back resembles a 822 except the headphone jack seems to be different and the phone looks to be as slim as the headphone jack itself," noted MyNokiaBlog's Jay Montano.
The Lumia 822 is currently available in the U.S., exclusively on Verizon's network.
It is possible the odd Lumia smartphone is part of the heavily rumored Lumia 720 or Lumia 520. The two before-mentioned smartphone have ben reported to make their debut at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain during the Feb. 25 to 28 conference dates.

Aside from the non-Lumia 920 smartphone, the advertisement does end on a positive note. The male protagonist moves on with his life and new girl.
