Gears of War: Judgment pre-orders at Wal-Mart will include a choice of either Gears of War 2 or 3, in addition to the downloadable version of the original Gears of War and the Classic Hammerburst assault rifle that comes with all GoW:J pre-orders.
"Gamers who preorder Gears of War: Judgment in the United States at Wal-Mart's website will receive their choice of Gears of War 2 or Gears of War 3 at no additional cost," writes GameSpot. "In addition, all launch copies of Gears of War: Judgment include a download code for the original Gears of War."
"On top of that, Wal-Mart preorders for Gears of War: Judgment include the Classic Hammerburst weapon."
The game hits shelves on Mar. 19 exclusively for the Xbox 360. The pre-order bundle at Wal-Mart costs $59.96, and Wal-Mart says pre-orders should arrive in the mail on the 19th.
Gears of War: Judgment is a prequel to the Gears of War trilogy, taking place shortly after Emergence Day and detailing the early war against the Locust. It will focus on Damon Baird, now heading Kilo Squad, and Augustus "Cole Train" Cole, as well as introduce several new characters not seen before in the series: Sofia Hendrik, a former journalist turned Gear, Garron Paduk, a former Gorasnayan who joined the COG after E-Day, Ezra Loomis, a COG commander and veteran of the Pendulum Wars, and Karn, one of the game's antagonists, who attacks both Gorasnaya and Halvo Bay.
Gears of War: Judgment includes two new multiplayer modes: OverRun and Free-for-All. Maps also include Gondola, Library and Island.
Down but Not Out isn't available in Free-for-All, so no executions.
