If you want to pick up one of the most powerful smartphones available in the United States, there are few competitors out there that can compare to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. The 5.55-inch phablet does run a pretty penny through carriers, but if you're thinking of hopping on Sprint's network, Amazon Wireless will let you snatch one up for $100.

Amazon Wireless is currently selling both the Titanium Grey and Marble White Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2 models for $99.99 with a standard two-year contract. The Galaxy Note 2 generally costs $199.99 through U.S. carriers, even with a two-year contract. Sadly, it looks like the deal will only apply for those looking to start a two-year relationship with Sprint's network. Existing Sprint customers will have to pay a whopping $249.99 for both colors of the Galaxy Note 2, even with a contract.

Amazon Wireless sells the Verizon Galaxy Note 2, in both colors, for $199.99 with the contract, and AT&T's version runs $239.99. Both Verizon and AT&T Galaxy Note 2 prices are the same for existing and new customers.

While these may sound like exorbitant prices, keep in mind that the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 originally released with a $299.99 (with a two-year contract) price tag across all carriers.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is carried by other networks such as T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular, although Amazon Wireless does not carry those carriers' variants.

The Samsung Galaxy Note features a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and a 5.55-inch Super AMOLED display. Its huge size is complemented by an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, and the S Pen electronic stylus, which allows users to utilize their Galaxy Note 2 much like a digital notepad. The Galaxy Note 2 also comes with LTE support and Android 4.1 Jelly right out of the box. The handset is expected to receive Android 4.2 within the first quarter of 2013.

Let us know if you end up buying a Galaxy Note 2 and what you think of it.
