It's finally back in town. After what began to seem like an eternity, the Google Nexus 4 is now available for purchase once again through T-Mobile's online store.

T-Mobile has been listing the Nexus 4 as being out of stock for some months now, but a look at the Nexus 4 listing shows that you can now add one to your shopping cart for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and agreeing to a two-year contract. Be sure to hurry, however, as the Nexus 4 is in high demand, and probably won't be in stock for too much longer.

T-Mobile is the only carrier to offer the Nexus 4, and sells the 16GB model running Android 4.2.

It wasn't too long ago that it was revealed to us that T-Mobile brick-and-mortar stores would be receiving shipments of the Nexus 4. We were able to confirm some stores in Manhattan were selling the handset, but supplies now seem to have diminished.

The only other official retailer of the Nexus 4 is Google, but as of right now, the Google Play store reads "out of stock" for both the 8GB and 16GB models. Google Play, however, sells the Nexus 4 without the need for a contract for cheaper - $299 for the 8GB variant, and $349 if you want 16GB. If you would like to keep track of the Google Play's Nexus 4 inventory, you can visit n4checker.com.

The lack of Nexus 4 inventory has caused some friction between consumers, Google, and LG, who manufacturers the Nexus 4. Would-be consumers are frustrated, Google has blamed LG for the shortage, and LG has retaliated by saying Google underestimated how high the demand for the smartphone would be.

Either way, while the blame game is fun, the important thing is that consumers can now pick up the Nexus 4 at retail prices, rather than paying exorbitant rates to a third-party retailer.
