Bow Wow is back with Jermaine Dupri in a hot new music video for "WAY (Where Ya At)?"
In May, Mr. Moss left Birdman's Cash Money Records to pursue his own music ventures, and this looks to be the start of it -- he is teaming back up with his longtime So So Def producer, and the duo makes a smooth summer single.
The track boasts a relaxed vibe with the Columbus, Ohio native using a laid-back, singsong (à-la-Drake) voice to perform the chorus. "Oh, where you at, babe? / You said you're 5 minutes on your way / But I noticed it's 20 minutes / And a n***a can't wait / (Got me waiting on you!)" he sings.
The visual for the song pans between ideal summer hot spots. The pair is pictured between multiple women on a yacht, cruising through the open water and mingling amongst party guests at a rooftop party.
Before losing themselves in a mellow summer banger, viewers can get a few giggles as the video begins with the dynamic duo contemplating and bickering over how to procure a yacht for weekend, while the quick-witted owner peppers them with plenty of questions and insults before handing over his boat.
"We gon get the boat. I know how you be actin' Don't say too much. I'm talking!" Dupri exclaims to his protégé, who argues back under his breath he is perfectly capable of handling the negotiations.
The yacht owner, donning a Kenzo snapback and a cigar, says to the producer the boat is not moving. He also hurls a flurry of insults at the rappers, saying, "Why don't you get a row boat?" and "Where are the b***hes? Show me the b***hes!"
Someone is obviously about that life! Bow Wow does his best to convince the owner saying, "We got some of the baddest, finest women from around the world coming!"
Double trouble appears to have finally secured the boat after 12 minutes. The video proceeds to a breathtaking pan over a cityscape by the beach before stopping on the yacht and continues to follow the them as they try to get the cutest ladies to join them on the luxurious water vessel.
The video ends with a few silly outtakes of the pair again trying to obtain a boat for the weekend.
Dupri and Bow Wow have worked on a number of tracks together since the launch of the latter's rapping career, including singles on his album, "Beware of Dogg," which was released released in 2000.
