Friday is a big day for AT&T, with more than a couple of the newest smartphones and phablets launching on the U.S. network. One of those phablets is the LG Optimus G Pro, which you can find in a new color. The White LG Optimus G Pro is now on sale at AT&T.
Beginning Friday, Aug. 23, one of the top U.S. carriers, AT&T, is launching a White LG Optimus G Pro. You can pick up the new, paler, Optimus G Pro for just $99.99 with a two-year agreement online.
The Optimus G Pro is the phablet version of LG Electronics' Optimus G, which is the company's 2012 flagship phone. The LG Optimus G Pro was released this year in April and packs some flagship-level specs. It comes with a 5.5-inch display, rivaling the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with 1080 x 1920p resolution and an above 400 pixels per inch on the screen. The multitouch touchscreen device comes with either 16GB of internal storage, or a 32GB option for a little more money. Either way, you'll be able to supplement the internal storage with up to an additional 64GB of microSD capacity.
The 5.5-inch phablet is run by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 system on a chip, with a quad core 1.7GHz Krait 300 CPU and an Adreno 320 GPU. The device has 2GB of RAM. The whole thing runs on a 3,140 mAh battery, which should be sufficient to get you through the day.
Other hardware specs include a 13-megapixel camera, capable of taking 4208 x 3120 pixel photographs, along with a 2.1-megapixel secondary front-facing shooter, which can record 1080p video at 30 frames per second. The LG Optimus G Pro runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and runs on AT&T's 4G LTE network, which is expanding to 50 more U.S. markets before the end of this year. You can pick up the White LG Optimus G Pro now at AT&T.
