Grand Theft Auto 5 is rapidly approaching release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but so far there has been no mention of the game coming to PC from Rockstar. Now, it looks like tech giant Nvidia may have spilled the beans on a PC version of the game being release. In addition, Rockstar has revealed details about the game's DLC plan.

Nvidia held a earnings call, which was reported on by CraveOnline, and company's senior IR director Chris Evenden listed Grand Theft Auto 5 among other PC titles that have gamers looking forward to the fall and have caused the growth of specialized PC's:

"The PC market is evolving...as entry level laptops face pressure from tablets. Yet sales of specialty PCs like gaming systems and work stations continue to grow. The disparity reflects how consumers use these different classes of PCs. Many consumers look for PC as a general purpose device they can use for browsing, email, social media video. But much of this can be better served by a tablet. In contrast, gamers are preparing their systems for a strong roster of games coming this fall, including blockbuster franchises, such as Call of Duty: Ghosts, Grand Theft Auto V and Assassin's Creed IV."

It seems as though PC users may be able to get their hands on the latest entry in the Grand Theft Auto series, unless Nvidia received some bad information or they are just clueless about the game. Either way, this is the most solid hint at a PC version of the game that gamers have gotten from a source in the industry.

In addition, Rockstar appears to be set to deliver DLC to the game after it is released September 17, and this DLC will be region-locked, according to a post on the Rockstar Support page. While there are no details about the DLC for the game, it looks as though gamers will have a chance to continue finding new ways to explore Los Santos and the surrounding areas of Blaine County. Perhaps Rockstar will give players new missions to complete with the three playable protagonists of the game. Or maybe the developer will expand the already huge world of the game, and make it so players will have more places to hide away and get into mischief.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is one of the most anticipated games of the year, and figures to be a game of the year contender when it is released. Look out for more information about the game as we count down to the game's release date.
