Defiance
Aside from cameos featuring characters from the show, nothing much crossed over into the Defiance game series. The same goes for the television aspect, which makes some amount of sense considering that it would be pretty hard for events in the game to influence an episode that's already been written and filmed.
Nolan and crew are back in "Brothers In Arms." The show is continuing to improve with each subsequent week, and this episode was no exception.
Defiance returned last night with "The Serpent's Egg." The episode finds Nolan and Irisa separated for the first time since the pilot, with the head Lawkeeper escorting Amanda and the money Defiance is using to fund their railway.
Defiance fans can breath a sigh of relief, the series is officially moving on past its first season. SyFy has renewed the program for a 13 episode Season 2, which is currently aiming for a 2014 premiere.
Defiance returns this week with "A Well Respected Man." The episode opens with Nolan and his lawkeepers laying down some justice on two Castithan weapons smugglers.
Defiance returns with something of a "monster of the week" episode. Don't fear though, we also finally get some long overdue character development for Irisa.
The second episode of SyFy's Defiance arrived on Monday, and with a shorter runtime, it's probably a much better indicator of how the show will be handled from here on out.
The TV half of SyFy's ambitious transmedia franchise premiered last night. The show sets up a future Earth in the aftermath of an alien invasion.
