Both Chelsea and Arsenal are jockeying for position in the Premier League and will be desperate to pick up the extra points on Sunday morning.

Chelsea sits six points behind second place Manchester City but only holds a two point lead against fourth place Tottenham Hotspur. With Tottenham facing Manchester United, a win over Arsenal could potentially put a five point distance between Chelsea and Tottenham. However, a Tottenham victory coupled with a Chelsea win cuts the gap for first place to 12 points. Chelsea has been better of late, but has struggled to win consistently. In its last match with Southampton, the squad drew 2-2 with goals from Eden Hazard and Demba Ba. Prior to that draw, the team had won five of its previous six with the loss coming to lowly Queens Park Rangers.

Arsenal has just signed Theo Walcott to a three-and-a-half year deal that will keep its leading scoring with the team. Walcott has notched eight goals and six assists this season, but he has remained a question mark for most of his career. With his short-term future secure, he may have the breathing room to flourish and become the player Arsene Wenger has long envisioned. Arsenal has not won in its last two matches and needs a big game against Chelsea to jump into fifth place and threaten for a Champions League position.

The last time these clubs met on Sept. 29, Chelsea won 2-1.

Prediction: Both squads are unpredictable. With Chelsea at home, they should have the edge. 2-1 Chelsea.
