The Bellator Fighting Championships are Thursday night on Spike TV at the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California. Tonight's action starting at 8:00 p.m. EST will feature two title fights and a pair of  tournament quarterfinals as well.

The Featherweight (145-pound) championship will pit Patricio Freire against the current champ Pat Curran. Curran topped Joe Warren for his second tournament win in 2012.

The Lightweight title fight will be between Rick Hawn and the current champion of the 155-pound weight class, Michael Chandler. The two contestants haven't competed since May, when each beat his opponent. Hawn won the sixth 155-pound tournament. Chandler knocked out Akihiro Gono.

Former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight champ Renato Sobral (in the 205-pound tournament) will make his BFC debut tonight.

 Seth Petruzelli will battle Jacob Noe in a 205-pound main card match to air on Spike TV.

Sobral will duke it out with Mikhail Zayats in the other 205-pound match on television (one of four fights on TV).

On spike.com,  Emanuel Newton will fight Atanas Djambazov, and Jason Lambert takes on Hector Ramirez in the 205-pound weight class. In a 170-pound match-up,  Jamie Yager will duel Joe Williams. The lone 165-pund brawl is between Brian Warren and J.J. Ambrose. The two 155-pound matches include Cleber Luciano versus Mario Navarro and Savant Young against Mike Guymon. The lightest competitors are Aaron Miller and Joe Camacho in the 145-pound bout.

The UFC event is on Saturday, January 19, while the BFC event coming next is Thursday, January 24.
