Two sneaky moves and a valiant leaping effort make up this edition of the Plays of the Week. A hockey player scored a goal without shooting, a lacrosse team pulled a backyard prank to score and one NBA player went from goat to hero on the same play.

The Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League pulled off one of the most hallowed baseball tricks on a power play against the Philadelphia Wings on Friday. The Hidden Ball Trick pulled the Bandits one goal closer in an eventual 13-8 loss in Philadelphia. Notice the nonchalant pass at the very beginning that duped the referees, fans and even the broadcaster.

Another trick play gave Jori Lehtera a shootout goal in the Kontinental Hockey League's All-Star Game. He intentionally didn't shoot, letting the puck sneak past the goalie on the near side for one of 18 East Team goals. Two current NHL players-Ilya Kovalchuk and Pavel Datsyuk-- got permission from their respective teams to play in the KHL contest, according to an AP report.

The Orlando Magic's Ish Smith hurdled Washington Wizard John Wall unintentionally, and turned it into a blocked shot with a great second effort last night. Wall apparently had a pump fake just a bit too good.

Are there any plays you think belong in the conversation? Let us know in the comments section.
