The Dark Knight Rises was one of the most successful movies of all time and inevitable it is for Warner Bros. to look to reboot their apprised franchise as soon as possible. According to a number of reports, it seems that the studio has already taken preliminary steps toward doing that.
Back in September, Cosmic BookNews revealed that the new Batman movie was likely to happen in 2016 and would be tentatively named "The Batman." The report also indicated that the movie would follow after the "Justice League" that is slated for release in 2015. The report also indicated that the Joker would take a central role in the story and that it would be based on the popular "Arkham Asylum" video game.
That story was substantiated by a new report from Fusible that claims that Warner Bros is buying up domain names under the internet brand protection company MarkMonitor. Warner Bros has utilized that same company for its own domain name warnerbros.com and for the 300 prequel. The company apparently registered domain names on Jan. 10, 2013 and they all revolve around the name 'Arkham.'
The full list of names includes:
arkhamuniverse.com (Arkham Universe);
batmanarkahmuniverse.com (Batman Arkham Universe)
batmanarkhamarises.com (Batman Arkham Arises)
batmanarkhambegins.com (Batman Arkham Begins)
batmanarkhamdarkknight.com (Batman Arkham Dark Knight)
batmanarkhamknight.com (Batman Arkham Knight)
batmanarkhamlegend.com (Batman Arkham Legend)

darkknightarkham.com (Dark Knight Arkham)

The report does note that Warner Bros could be buying up the domains for protection or for another Batman production.
