The NCAA Men's Basketball Rankings for Week 11 were released Monday afternoon at 1pm EST. Each of the top two seeds dropped and Louisville became the new #1 team in the nation.

Louisville improved its record to 15-1 on the season and moved from third place to first in the AP Top 25. Indiana jumped three spots to become number two. The Duke Blue Devils lost the #1 rank over the weekend with a defeat against North Carolina State. Kansas moved up two spots to #4, despite having two fewer wins than Michigan. The Wolverines fell from #2 to #5, and are one of four teams in the Top 25 with 16-1 records.

The win over the former #1 team gave the NC State Wolfpack a six-spot burst, which tied for the most this week. New Mexico improved from the 25th team to become ranked #19.

The most precipitous drop was 11 ranks for Illinois, which fell from #12 to #23.

The Syracuse Orange moved up one place from seventh to sixth. Arizona is next on the list, dropping to seventh from being #4 in the country. Gonzaga moved up one spot to #8, swapping places with Minnesota. The Florida Gators snuck into the top ten by moving up one spot. The only team to fall out of the top ten this week was Missouri, who fell seven places to #17.

There are four new teams in the Top 25, with Oregon being the highest ranked of them all (21). Virginia Commonwealth (22), UCLA (24) and Marquette (25) round out the newcomers.

Georgetown was the highest team to drop out of the Top 25 entirely, going from #19 to unranked. #21 Cincinnati, #23 Wichita State and #24 UNLV all were left out of this week's rankings.
