Cristiano Ronaldo has been rumored for a number of potential transfer moves this year. The superstar, however, claims that there will be no change coming in the next few years.
According to ESPN.com, Ronaldo is intent on finishing out his contract with his current club Real Madrid. "I want to see out my contract at Real Madrid: I'm very clear about that," he told FIFA.com. The superstar is signed until 2015 with the Merengues. However he did leave room for change by also saying, "after that, well, I don't know what'll happen in the future."
During the interview, Ronaldo noted that it was harder to play for the Spanish club than his first team Manchester United. "I've been here for 3 1/2 years now and I think that's the case because everyone involved ii totally focused on winning the club's 10th European Cup. That creates a certain amount of anxiety, which can be felt at all times."
Ronaldo has mentioned that he misses his old team and noted that he will not celebrate if he scored against Manchester when Real Madrid faces them in the Champions League tilt this February. Manhcester United has been one of the rumored destinations for Ronaldo during this transfer window.
Ronaldo expressed being "sad" in the fall after one of Real Madrid's matches. He did however tell FIFA that it was no longer the case and that ""I'm doing something I like, something that I enjoy... I know how fortunate I am and I feel very fulfilled."
