Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is one of the most sought after players outside the English Premier league. A number of recent rumors have linked him with a possible move to Manchester United, but there has yet to be any confirmation on the move. However, Zaha may have revealed the transfer himself.
According to a number of reports, the 20-year old English player posted a vague message on his twitter account that he was later asked to take down. UK Publication The Independent asserts that Zaha tweeted, "Looks like I'm on my way to the top of the premier league."
Manchester United currently sits in first place of the Premier League. When asked about the message, he then denied it on Twitter as well: "I don't know [sic] remember tweeting no such thing so I don't know where the tweet came from #confused".
Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester United have been in hot pursuit of the rising star. However, Tottenham has since left the bargaining table and it seems that Manchester is the main contender to grab Zaha. The price tag on the winger has been listed as £12 million.
The sale of Zaha will likely hurt Crystal Palace's chances at promotion and will also see its influx of League TV money diminish.
