In the last episode before the mid-season hiatus, fans of ABC's hit medical drama 'Grey's Anatomy' witnessed the highs and lows of several relationships at Seattle Grace-Mercy West Hospital.
Bailey (Chandra Wilson) skipped out on her own wedding to fiancé Ben (Jason George) when she and her friend Richard (James Pickens Jr.) received word that his wife, Adele (guest star Loretta Devine) is critically in the hospital. Meanwhile, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), husband Derek (Patrick Dempsey) and sister-in-law Lizzie (guest star Neve Campbell) deal with Derek's risky hand surgery.
Soon-to-be divorced couple Christina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) appeared to make a move towards reconciliation when they confess to each other that they are still in love with each other. Drs. Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw) also seem to be on the mend after experiencing a rough patch in their marriage.
Not to be left behind, April (Kepner), Jackson (Jesse Williams) and Alex (Justin Chambers) all decide to take an intern to Bailey's wedding-hilarious, tension and drama ensue.
In the upcoming episode, "Things We Said Today," Bailey continues to put her wedding on hold as she attempts to save Adele's life. ABC teases that Christina and Owen are still undecided about their marriage status, while their friends Callie and Arizona work on getting their spark back. As if all that isn't enough, the doctors at Seattle Grace-Mercy West must deal with a hospital filled with a group of bikers that have been in a horrific accident.
'Grey's Anatomy' S9E10, "Things We Said Today," airs on Thursday, January 10 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
