Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have called it quits once more.
The superstar couple have reportedly ended their romantic relationship again after an argument leading up to New Year's Eve.
Page Six of the New York Post reports that Gomez and Bieber were originally planning to spend New Year's Eve in Mexico, but after a heated argument they allegedly had on Dec. 30, Gomez left town and Bieber went his own way afterwards.
The story originally broke on TMZ, who was reporting on the death of paparazzi photographer Chris Guerra, who was killed days ago after he was struck by a car while trying to take pictures of Bieber.
A source close to Gomez told Hollywood Life.com that the female singer/actress "wants to start things new with Justin again and act like they are a new couple and leave all of the drama and bulls**t behind."
The source added, "She said 2013 is their year and they need to get back to basics. She wants to hold him to it though so she's letting all of her followers know."
The only indication that either of the stars were giving on their situation were veiled comments on Twitter posted on Wednesday.
"New beginnings. Fresh start. I love you all :)," read the tweet on Gomez's Twitter page.
Bieber, meanwhile, has been all business, promoting his upcoming album, "Believe Acoustic," which drops on Jan. 29, on his Twitter account. "2013 got some big things coming.... gonna stay positive. #BELIEVE," he tweeted.
