Want to be part of Beyonce's Half Time Show at Super Bowl XLVII?
Pepsi is giving 100 fans the chance to do just that, offering up the chances to perform alongside the superstar singer when the Super Bowl comes to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on Feb. 3.
Under the rules of the contest, which starts Saturday, fans can submit photos of themselves, including shouting, tapping their feet, bopping their heads and shaking their hips to Pepsi's special contest site.
The pictures will be used in a televised ad that will precede the introduction to Beyonce's halftime performance. Pepsi will choose 50 grand prize winners to take a trip for two--a winner and one guest-- to New Orleans, La., to participate in the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Part of that will include taking part in dress rehearsals during the week leading up to the show to be a part of Beyonce's on-field dance team.
"Pepsi is bringing to life its 'Live for Now' mindset which places fans at the center of this experience," said Angelique Krembs, vice president of marketing, Pepsi to Bevnet.com. "Pepsi is looking for new ways to involve fans in the Halftime Show experience, and 'live' it like never before. And this is just the beginning. Only Pepsi could offer these amazing experiences, and we are proud to be able to work with our partners at the NFL, CBS and with Beyonce in this unique and creative manner."
The deadline for those wanting to take part in the halftime show expires Jan. 11, and the cutoff date for people wanting to submit their photos to be part of the TV ad for Beyonce's show is Jan. 19.
Fans can submit their photos by going to Pepsi's link here.
