Pablo's men continue to hold and threaten the kidnapped journalists. However, he has not decided what he plans to do with them. His former allies, the Motoas have made a decision on their situation with the country and ultimately decide to give themselves in.
Pablo visits Gonzalo's grave. His guards warn him about the lack of safety in the area, but the mob boss will not be parted from his cousin's tomb until he has prayed. In the mean time, one of Pablo's workers seeks out Mirella because he needs money to pay a debt. Mirella tells him that she does not know where her dead brother, El Chili left the money.
The Coronel gets information about the kidnapped men but claims no responsibility for their safety. Instead he contests that it is the police's job to take care of them.
In jail Villa Vicencio visits the Motoa brothers to know if they know the location of the kidnapped men, but the brothers refuse to help him.
One of Pablo's man contacts the police and agrees to help them. They ask where the kidnapped journalists are and he gives them the location. The police raid the area and kill a number of Pablo's men.
The Drug Lord becomes furious at the betrayal and death of his men and orders all the prisoners to be killed. The police search the area they raided but find nothing. They threaten to kill Pablo's man if he does not tell them the truth.
The novela is slowly coming to an end. The date for the grand finale has not yet been announced. The series aired in Colombia in 115 installments, but the length was approximately 27 minutes per episode. The length of the episodes airing in the US is almost 10 minutes shorter which explains why the episode number will be much higher for the US version.
