Playstation Network Sale Kicks Off December 18th, Offers Over 40 Games to Users

It's no Steam sale, but it'll do. Sony seems to have caught onto the idea that people like spending money during the holidays and is more than happy to oblige with an ongoing discount for select content on the Playstation Network. The first round of price cuts will begin on December 18^th and last until December 24^th. Sony plans three weeks of bargains, but has yet to announce the next batch, so keep an eye out for updates as we stride closer to New Years. Note that signing up for Playstation Plus, Sony's premium online service, slashes sales prices even further. Check out the official list below, which was posted on Sony's official blog (via IGN).
