Justin Bieber is determined to turn his life around from his partying habits to a serious music artist.
The Canadian singer did an interview on The Bert Show and revealed that it was God who helped him turn his life around. The 21-year-old singer said that he believed that God was trying to tell him something. Justin said that he heard a voice and it was that point that he decided that he was going to change his life.
"I am not going to go into detail of what I was doing and where I was at, but I was pretty lost and woke up one day and felt like God was telling me something," the singer said.
After his decision, he did a couple of interviews and apologized for his past behaviour. Justin then rang up his manager Scooter Braun and told him that they need to fix things. However, although he decided to ditch the wild antics, he admitted that he still likes having a good time and drinking.
Justin proceeded, saying that what he finds enjoyable might be contradictory to the more conservative Christians but he doesn't see anything wrong with what he is doing at all.
"I'm stumbling over my words right now because I don't want to offend anybody but I believe you can go and have a good time, get some drinks and enjoy yourself and can be with girls," the singer said. "I don't think you need to be serious about it."
Justin tried to be a little more careful in explaining that he believes that loving God and having some good fun are two separate things. He is also encouraging a God-centered way of living.
Meanwhile, a report from Business Insider revealed the reason why his manager didn't allow Justin to say his name in his early YouTube videos. For those who do not know, Justin was discovered by Braun via YouTube back when he was covering songs of other artists.
Braun spoke about the early secrets he did to manage Justin at the Consumers Electronics Conference in Las Vegas. He explained that he wanted the viewers to feel like they were in the same room while Justin sings. The manager also spoke about what it was like watching his discovered talent take off to mega stardom.
"We started to see ten thousand impressions. A hundred thousand impressions. Finally, we got our first million and I can tell you, it's really great to see the company we have now but when we got our first million impressions on YouTube, I was in my apartment, in Atlanta, in my underwear, dancing," Braun revealed.
