While Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson are the two most successful "American Idol" graduates to date, Ryan Seacrest believes Underwood is the bigger star. Seacrest called Underwood a "superstar."

Hosting "American Idol" for 13 years, Seacrest had the pleasure of meeting amazing singers, some who had the fortune to win the coveted title. His opinions on the reality television show naturally hold some weight, considering his experience with it. In an interview with Today show, however, Seacrest had the misfortune of being put on the spot and asked a very dangerous question - who was the biggest star to come out from the popular reality show?

Instead of shying away from the question or giving a very showbiz answer, Seacrest gave a response bravely. The media mogul said he has to put his money on Underwood. One of the hosts asked what about Clarkson but Seacrest will not budge from his answer. Even though Clarkson was the very first winner of "American Idol" in 2002 and is still very popular up to now, Seacrest is still more impressed with  the "Jesus, Take the Wheel" singer. "'Kelly too, but, you know, I was just on New Year's with Carrie, and she's just a superstar. She really is. So I take Carrie," he explained.

"American Idol" is set to begin its 15th and final season on Jan 6, 8pm ET on FOX. Many are clearly not set to let the reality show go yet.

Randy Jackson, one of the show's original judges, but soon left after 13 seasons, still has a lot to say of the show. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Jackson showed that the reality program really had become a part of him. He can still remember a lot of those who auditioned and gave his views on what elimination pained him, what performances wowed him and the like. Asked what he wanted people to remember about the show in the years to come after the show is off the air, Jackson answered that he wanted people to remember how people should not really take themselves so seriously. "Dude, people had a good time. It's like, one thing we'd always say is, nobody---including us---should take themselves too seriously. It's only music. Songs and lyrics, lyrics and melodies. You know what I mean?" he said.

Even though the upcoming season is the last one, it would not be less fun nor exciting. In fact, teasers have been showing how fun it would be. Kanye West for one, would be "auditioning" for "American Idol." Teasers showed Kim Kardashian's husband performing "Gold Digger" in front of judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick, Jr. This is something to watch out for.

Here is the clip of Kanye West's audition:
