Wrestlemania 32 rumors continue to run wild with critics and fans speculating on what matches could be in store once the annual WWE extravaganza takes place this April at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The only big news that has so far been confirmed right now is that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be there though it still has yet to be clarified what the actor/wrestler will be doing at the WWE PPV.
Initially, it was believed that Johnson would be around merely for an appearance seeing that he will be busy filming for the “Baywatch” movie.
However, a follow-up post by the Rock via Instagram seems to hint at something else with the belief that “The Rock” could likely be tipped for a match. However, it remains to be seen if there is any truth to that concern, not to mention who he will be up against.
There were two rumors earlier tying up “The Rock” in a possible match against Triple H. Not long after though, there were new rumors speculating that he could be the one to face off with the Undertaker in what USA Today suggests could be a retirement match.
Apparently, there are a lot of possibilities right now but before getting up and jumpy, remember that the immediate thing that has to be confirmed first is the degree of participation that he will be doing.
The Australia Network tries to blend in all those rumors into one crazy idea – a Triple Threat match involving Triple H, the Rock and the Undertaker. The idea seems neat only that it seems a bit overboard having all those WWE legends in one ring.
Then again, the WWE wants to make it big affair so why not? But the so-called “Undertaker retirement” angle could be shelved in such a scenario unless it would involve all three participants. Somehow, that is something that has never happened before and doesn’t seem like a feasible scenario.
The decision on that will be at the hands of the WWE but to make the most out of it, it may be best to forego triple threat matches involving WWE greats and stick to the usual head-to-head tussles.
Compared to the previously rumored tiffs, it seems more feasible to see a John Cena vs. Undertaker and Roman Reigns vs. Triple H showdowns which place us back to square one on what the Rock will do.
Be reminded, there is still no official word that “The Rock” will be actually wrestling meaning he could get involved in matches or probably play “guest referee” for some match.
