Spice Girls reunite!

People from around the world thought there wasn't even a tiny bit chance that the iconic English pop girl group called Spice Girls would reunite for one last time. Rumors about the award winning group reuniting are all over the internet but is there any truth to it?

According to US Magazine Brown dished last December telling Meredith Vieira that there really is a possible reunion. According to her "there’s nothing to really spill because nothing has been announced, nothing’s official. I mean, yes, we are in talks because it’s our 20th anniversary. And I want something to happen. I’m forcing them a little bit, but yeah. I’ve been saying it for five years, ‘We are reuniting. We are, aren’t we?’”

According to E Online, Mel B gave hints while appearing on the UK television special Alan Carr's New Year's Spectacular, Mel B was questioned about the group's 20th anniversary approaching sooner rather than later. Scary Spice's answer gave the hope alive.

"I think I'm the one putting all the rumors out there," Scary Spice said on the show. "To be serious, it is our twentieth anniversary this year and it would be rude not to celebrate."

She added, "So hopefully something will be happening pretty soon…I can't tell you what it is yet." Does this mean the Spice Girls are going to come back? There wasn't any formal announcement about the said come back but the hints of Mel B shows that there is indeed a possiblity for a long awaited reunion.

The Spice Girls is an English pop girl group formed and found in 1994. The group consists of Melanie Brown ("Scary Spice"), Melanie Chisholm ("Sporty Spice"), Emma Bunton("Baby Spice"), Geri Halliwell ("Ginger Spice"), and Victoria Beckham, née Adams ("Posh Spice"). They have been named the best-selling female group of all time, one of the best-selling pop groups of all time, and the biggest British pop phenomenon since Beatlemania.

There were rumors going around that the iconic boy band Back Street Boys were going to merge with the Spice Girls for a joint come-back tour. When E Online asked about the speculation, Nick Carter didn't exactly kill our hopes and dreams. "There were talks in the past about it and we had done the New Kids On The Blockand Backstreet Boys tour in the past," he explained to E! News' Sibley Scoles. "I think this would be the last hurrah—the two big groups from the late ‘90s. Maybe do a world tour, stadiums, stuff like that and do a package together."
