According to a report from Hollywood Life, the rumored couple did not spend the holidays together. Instead, they both spent the special time with their families. However, although they are apart, there were rumors that Horan made sure that he is on the "Same Old Love" singer's mind during the season.

A source claimed that before the One Direction singer jetted off to spend Christmas with his family, he wrapped up a special present for Gomez to sleep in.

"Before Selena and Niall went their separate ways for Christmas, he wrapped up one of his favorite white t-shirts and gave it to Selena to sleep in," an insider said. "She always told him how much she loves the way he smells, so he doused the shirt with his cologne. Niall told her to wear his shirt whenever she misses him. It's a super sweet gift."
