Deadpool Red Band Trailer 2 is Here! [Watch]

It's the holiday season and a man in black and red spandex is here, not for the good kids, but for the naughty ones.

In another release for its holiday marketing campaign "12 Days of Deadpool," 20th Century Fox reveals its second "Deadpool" Red Band trailer featuring Ryan Reynolds in yet another three minutes of comedy, action and blood.

The second trailer goes in line with the first Red Band trailer released about four months ago starring Reynolds as Wade Wilson, a former Special Forces Operative turned mercenary who was diagnosed with terminal cancer. This condition led Wilson to be part of a dangerous experiment in hopes to save his body from the illness.

Nonetheless, the next time Wilson was seen was when he was emerging from the ruins of a totally destroyed and burned area. He does acquire superhuman capabilities with accelerated healing powers, but he was completely scarred from head to toe which his friend Weasel (T.J. Miller) described a look "like the inside of other people's assholes."

Hence, with this new ability, Wilson embraced the alter ego of the titular Deadpool and sets on a mission to hunt down his "worst enemy" Ajax (Ed Skrein) and Angel Dust (Gina Carano) who are after his "best girl" Vanessa Carlysle (Morena Baccarin).

The trailer, which combines Reynold's strong personality with Deadpool's character, highlights more comedic conversations and graphic actions all throughout. Additionally, it also shows the connection of Deadpool to the X-Men as Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) and Teenage Negasonic Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) appeared and tried to stop him, possibly, luring him to join them.

Fans were also treated with a brief scene of the battle of Colossus and Negasonic Warhead against Angel Dust in the latter part of the trailer.

This new trailer is 20th Century Fox's way to take advantage of the holiday season to boost its advertising for "Deadpool". With just about two months before the R-rated superhero movie hit the theaters, the film studio hopes to build some hype and draw more audience.

The action-comedy movie is directed by Tim Miller with screenplay from Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. It is produced by Simon Kinberg, Lauren Shuler Donner and Reynolds himself.

"Deadpool" will be released on Feb. 12, 2016.
