It appears 'Hunger Games' actor Liam Hemsworth was in a fighting mood on Sunday. The Aussie actor, who is engaged to Miley Cyrus, allegedly punched a man in the face during a violent street fight in Philadelphia early Sunday morning, TMZ reported.
According to the celebrity gossip site, Hemsworth was leaving a bar when he confronted the man who he believed had thrown a rock at him and his friend. In a video obtained by TMZ, the man, who identified himself as Rob, is seen holding on to Hemsworth's leg before the 22-year-old actor punches him in the face.
A third man, said to be Hemsworth friend, is seen holding down Rob as Hemsworth delivers some blows to the face and pushes him to the ground. According to TMZ, police arrived to break up the scuffle and disperse the crowd that had formed, but that no one was arrested. Hemsworth and his friend left shortly afterwards.
When questioned by TMZ, the beaten up man, who was visibly intoxicated, said, "I don't think [Liam] fared much better." According to Philadelphia PD, the alleged victim had not filed a police report against the actor. A source at the scene of the fight told TMZ that no one witnessed the alleged initial rock being thrown at Hollywood actor.
Hemsworth has not addressed the incident with the media. The actor is currently in Philadelphia shooting his new film 'Paranoia.' He will also appear in the latest installment of 'The Hunger Games' series, 'Catching Fire,' which will be released November 21, 2013.
