Another Blake Shelton-Gwen Stefani relationship problem is making headlines. According to a new report from In Touch Weekly, Gwen found out that Blake and ex-wife Miranda Lambert have been exchanging text messages behind her back.
A report via In Touch Weekly's Dec. 28 issue claims that the news began when Miranda, 32, texted Blake, 39, while he was backstage on "The Voice" set for a retouch. Apparently, Blake forgot to bring his phone with him so Gwen, 46, happened to see the message from Miranda.
"Gwen saw it and lost it. She found Blake and asked to speak to him privately, but he said he couldn't right then and there. She had tears running down her face and went and locked herself in her dressing room," according to a source.
According to the report, the former No Doubt frontwoman soon found out that Blake had been replying to Miranda's messages.
"Gwen has seen texts between Blake and Miranda," the source added. "She's really a mess over this."
It turns out that almost the same thing happened on Nov. 4's Country Music Awards. While Blake took Gwen to Nashville as his date for the CMAs after party, Gwen reportedly saw his phone when he left at some point in the party. There had allegedly been another text from his ex-wife.
"Gwen saw it," the source explained. "Miranda was trying to get Blake to go and see her and her friends at an after party."
The insider also said that Miranda's text at the after party came after another text from her prior to the CMAs asking Blake "if they could sit by each other at the CMA Awards. But he declined and asked her to stop texting him."
As noted by Hollywood Life, Gwen's afraid that Blake will "use" her and would do the same thing that her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale did to her. The 50-year-old Bush frontman allegedly cheated on Gwen with the nanny Mindy Mann.
"Gwen has some very strong feelings for Blake," a source reportedly shared. "[Gwen] gave [Blake] an ultimatum: Stop texting or else there's no wedding."
As for Blake, the website reported that he "assured" Gwen that Miranda's just acting "crazy" for texting him.
Multiple sources also claimed that Blake has not expressed any desire to get back with his former flame and that he's just replying to the text messages to provide closure and be polite. In addition, he's reportedly crazy about Gwen.
These claims seem true as far as the two "The Voice" coaches are seen on the set of the TV show. A HollywoodLife.com eyewitness also claimed that Gwen is always treated as Blake's "princess" whenever they're together.
