Justin Jedlica could pass off as the human version of Barbie's former boyfriend Ken, although he didn't work out to look like it. Jedlica, a 32-year-old living in New York City, has had 90 plastic surgeries in the past 10 years to transform himself into a living Ken doll.
"I really love to metamorphosize myself, and the stranger the surgery the better," he told ABC News. "Bucking the norm is so much fun."
Among his different plastic procedures, which cost about $100,000, are silicone implants in his buttocks, abdomen, biceps and triceps. During an interview with ABC's 20/20, Jedlica was asked why he didn't just work out for his upper body. He responded, "That's is so not exciting, not glamorous or fabulous."
While he agrees that all his surgeries put him at risk, he reportedly said it's a small price to pay for the perfect body, Oddity Central reported. Jedlica told Dr. Drew on HLN that he doesn't plan to stop getting surgery anytime soon, calling it his "art form."
On Tuesday, the 32-year-old tweeted that he was going in for yet another surgery in Miami. "Omg I'm getting new arms tomorrow!!!" he wrote. According to Jedlica's Facebook page, he is getting eight new implants in his biceps and deltoids.
Jedlica isn't the only one who has used plastic surgery to look like one of Mattel's dolls. In Ukraine, 24-year-old Valeria Lukyanova has used plastic surgery to make herself into a human Barbie doll.
