The video sharing site recently put together a list of the top clips for 2015. Interestingly, they're not based on views - likes, shares, searches, parodies, remixes and responses were also factored in the choices, Mashable noted.

That being said, the year's top video is that of a 4-year-old dancing to "Watch Me" by Silento, uploaded in April. It has since gained no less than 115 million views. Check out why this video is top dog this year:

Coming in second is Liam Neeson's "Clash of Clans" Super Bowl ad, which evokes the aura of danger he exuded in "Taken," albeit with humorous results. 83 million viewers of the video would probably agree.

In third place is this plastic ball prank that has racked up 56 million views. And probably as many viewers envious of the prospect of filling the home with many, many, many balls. The effort would probably won't be possible without the backing of Nissan, who commissioned the ad, Deadline noted.

The "Love Has No Labels" campaign clip ranked fourth, earning at least 55 million hits. This video went viral after it gained 14 million views in just 48 hours, according to People. It aimed " to make people more aware of the implicit biases they may hold."

Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart, and Jimmy Fallon's lip sync battle came in next. It had been declared as "The Super Bowl of lip sync battles" by Fallon himself in the beginning of the clip. Judging by its 54 million views and ranking in the 2015 YouTube top 10, it appears he was telling the truth.

Justin Bieber continues to make his presence felt as his carpool karaoke stunt with James Corden made it to 6th place on this list with 43 million views. Must be the fact that he sang the song that first propelled him to global fame, "Baby."

In 7th place is the 6-foot guy in the huge, exploding water balloon at 40 million views. Perhaps watching people squeeze themselves in awkward situations and watching the whole thing culminate in a satisfying climax is a stress-melting, entertaining experience for many.

This clip of Calum Scott nailing his "Britain's Got Talent" audition landing a place in YouTube's top 10 proves the unfailing ability of music or great singing to captivate a lot of people. The video's 38 million views apparently is a testament to that.

In 9th place is the Dover police officer grooving to "Shake It Off" via DashCam at 37 million views.

Finally, the list is rounded out by President Barack Obama's reactions to mean tweets about him. Were you one of the 34 million viewers of this clip?
