For quite a while now, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been smitten with each other. However, a new Hollywood Life report is implying that the two lovebirds could be having problems, and that Blake is still in love with ex-wife Miranda Lambert.
The website reported that Stefani is jealous of Miranda, especially since her marriage with Gavin Rossdale ended in heartbreak. In addition, Blake and Miranda's 10 years of togetherness is no easy feat, which could also mean a solid foundation despite their divorce.
Now Gwen is reportedly worried that the 39-year-old "Gonna" singer is "gonna" get back together with his former flame.
"Gwen is insanely jealous and on edge," stated a Life & Style magazine insider.
"She's terrified Blake might still love Miranda and want her back," the source added.
Many might say it's not a surprise that the former "No Doubt" frontwoman is worried. Both Gwen and Blake's former marriages ended in divorce, and previously, Blake admitted that he's still "buddies" with Miranda.
In February, Rossdale, 50, was rumored to have had an affair with the kids' nanny, Mindy Mann, for three years, which was also suspected to be the reason for his divorce with Stefani, 46. By August, the blonde beauty filed for divorce.
"Catching him cheating just ruined any self-confidence she had," the magazine claims. "Gavin broke her heart."
However, whether or not the rumors of Gwen Stefani's jealousy of Miranda Lambert are true, it's quite apparent that Blake isn't fooling around and that he's smitten with her. In fact, earlier this week, Blake reportedly kissed Gwen's forehead in front of the entire "The Voice" audience. In addition, Blake isn't shy about speaking about Gwen in interviews.
"She deserves it," Blake gushed over the success of Gwen's song "Used To Love You."
"If you go through whatever she went through to write that song, at least she's getting something good and positive out of it," he added.
Meanwhile, there seems to be a bit of bitterness on Miranda Lambert's side, according to ischoolguide, via Hollywood Life.
The 32-year-old "Holding On To You" singer seems to find Gwen and Blake's public relationship inauthentic and "over-the-top".
"Miranda is so over Blake's over-the-top gushing over Gwen. It's to the point where it's just ridiculous," a source told Hollywood Life.
"Miranda is now wondering if he's doing this just to push her buttons. She can't even bear to watch 'The Voice' or even hear about it. It just seems a bit all too pushed and not authentic to Miranda," the source added.
