Many fans of "Jane The Virgin" are hoping that Jane and Rafael could spend Christmas together as a family, but will they?
According to an article by The Christian Post, there will be a lot of drama when "Jane The Virgin" returns for its midseason finale. In the upcoming episode, Jane, who is played by actress Gina Rodriguez, will go head-to-head with her son's father Rafael played by actor Justin Baldoni. A new teaser trailer for the upcoming episode showed the two arguing at the mall as they celebrate their son's first Christmas.
In the promo video, Jane and Rafael were arguing as they line up to take a family photo with Santa. The man who was wearing the Santa costume got in between their fight and said that there are some strict rules about mommies and daddies fighting.
Apart from their parenting troubles, it looks like Jane will also experience some problems regarding school. She will get some bad news about her scholarship that will force her to work her way through graduate school.
It seems that the most wonderful time of the year won't be as merry as fans hope it would be. The next episode of "Jane The Virgin" will broadcast on CW on December 14.
Meanwhile, in a report by Yibada, Justin Baldoni, who plays one of Jane's love interest, opened up about his personal life as well as the chemistry on set with Rodriguez. Baldoni is on the front cover of BELLO magazine, and he talked about his career, married life and his being a father.
Baldoni also has a sweet treat to all his fans as he revealed that he will be sharing the first photoshoot of his daughter Maiya Grace in the magazine. The 31-year-old actor said that next to marrying his wife Swedish actress Emily Foxter, being a father has been one of the best things to ever happen to him. Although his schedule is busy with his TV series and running a couple of companies, he said that his family always comes first.
The actor also revealed that there was an instant chemistry with Rodriguez when they first met. He further explained that it wasn't sexual chemistry, but rather it was about how easily they related to each other even off-screen.
"Gina and I have a lot in common. It is really interesting that we were paired together in this crazy show. When we met, there was this instant chemistry, but it was not sexual chemistry. It was not necessarily about the acting, but rather about what we can do outside of it. I think we both really believed that," Baldoni said.
