After confirming their relationship, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani might be heading to a quickie wedding.
New rumors emerge that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are planning to get married. In an article by Hollywood Life, an insider claimed that Stefani proposed to the country singer while they were together one night. The "No Doubt" singer apparently came up with the idea of getting married and Shelton agreed.
"Blake asked [Gwen] what she was thinking and Gwen just blurted out, 'Let's get married'!" the source said. "Blake didn't even blink and said, 'Let's do it'! That's how it started and now they're not looking back."
The rumor came just weeks after they announced their relationship. It seems obvious to everyone that the two are really happy together and even one of their fellow "The Voice" coach can attest to that. Pharell said that he has never seen Stefani so happy. He also said that same for Shelton.
"I am grateful that Gwen is in the freest place that I feel like she's ever been since I've known her as a human being. Not just creatively, but just as a human being, she's floating right now," Pharell said. "I'm grateful that Blake is smiling these days and inspired as well musically."
Whether the reports are true or not, the two singers seem to be in a happy and peaceful place right now. This is after they announced their divorce from partners Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale. Shelton and Stefani are getting along so well that it is reported that the country singer invited his girlfriend and her kids to his Oklahoma home for the holidays.
Shelton also expressed nothing but praises to the "No Doubt" singer when she performed her emotional ballad "Used To Love You." US Weekly reported that Stefani wrote the song after she put an end to her 13 years of marriage to Rossdale. The rocker is speculated to have had an affair with the kids' nanny Mindy Mann.
Shelton said that it was nice to be able to see Stefani back in her element and back on stage. He even described the singer as a "very happy and free Gwen."
Although there were a lot of bad things that happened in her relationship before that led to the divorce, Stefani said that she has a second chance and plenty of joy right now.
The two started dating not long after Stefani announced her divorce in August. The two later confirmed their relationship after they were spotted in Adam Levine's Halloween party.
