Fans weren't able to see much of Aaron and Eric's relationship this season, that's why most of them are wondering whether there will be something more to show when the TV series continues.

In an interview with Comicbook.com, Ross Marquand who plays the character Aaron guarantees that fans will not miss out on him and Eric this season. He also noted that because the show has so many characters, it's hard to maintain a storyline sometimes.

According to Design & Trend, the actor revealed some bits and details about the relationship of the characters. Marquand said that Eric will remain supportive of Aaron and his desire to go and fight. However, Eric would prefer Aaron to stay with him a little longer.

"You'll see that Eric -- who has been very supportive this entire time and hoping for the best for Aaron although he cannot fight because of his ankle issue -- still very much understands that Aaron has a desire to go out and fight," the actor revealed. "He supports him even though he would secretly love to have him stay back and be with him a little longer because he just came back from almost being killed with Daryl."

He also added that the characters love each other very much, and that's something that the show will explore later in the season. Marquand said that in the end, the show is really about relationships, and he loves the attention given to Aaron and Eric. He also hopes to see the relationship develop in a bigger way. However, all these will only come about if Aaron and Eric will be able to survive longer in the zombie apocalypse enough for the writers and the fans to explore more of their relationship.

Showrunner Scott Gimple also did an interview with Deadline, revealing what fans should expect when the series premiers again. Gimple said that "The Walking Dead" will have one of the biggest episodes that has ever been done. He described it as "horrific" and a "unique type of claustrophobia."

Gimple also reacted to Glenn Rhee's character and how he managed to survive the Walkers. He said that he was glad to see Glenn alive. He also explained that it was sort of a gift to the audience who have seen a lot of heroes from the show die. He said that to see Glenn survive was something that fans deserve after six years of watching "The Walking Dead."

"We don't get to tell those type of stories very often on the show, and to see Glenn live, to see the hero survive, I felt was something the audience earned," Gimple said.

AMC's "The Walking Dead" will premier its second half of the season on February 2016.
