Conor McGregor has been known to talk a lot, but in this case, he is not just speaking for himself but for his upcoming opponent, Jose Aldo.

As everyone perhaps knows by now, the two are set to finally get it on for UFC 194 on Dec. 12, which is actually a reboot of that botched fight that was originally planned for UFC 189.

However, while the stage seems to be set, it looks like ‘the Notorious’ is having his share of doubts on the booking of the said match.

While McGregor did say that he had just come out and saved UFC the trouble of losing millions by coming out at UFC 189 against last-minute replacement Chad Mendes, he is unsure if Aldo would be ready to take him on in the coming week.

A look back in July would reveal that Aldo was forced to pull out due to a rib injury, but it seems that the Brazilian champion is already up and about. However, it seems that McGregor is questioning Aldo’s conditioning leading to the said tiff.

"I said to them, 'it's a little bit too early for Aldo,' because of his ribs, and his body. I just thought, 'he's going to rush into camp, again ... and he could pull out, injured, once again.' We're getting close now. All signs point that he'll show up. I hope he does. Let's see," says McGregor via Fox Sports.

The only assurance that McGregor gives is that he will be around for UFC 194 no matter what. He has been preparing for the said tiff and is obviously ready and raring to go.

On whether he was adding a touch of sarcasm on that or not remains to be seen, but with the animosity between the two, one cannot help but consider such.

This is not the first time that Aldo has been linked to possibly not appearing at UFC 194. Chael Sonnen made that claim before via his podcast, baring that his sources from Brazil claim that there is a chance that Aldo may not show up at all.

All that was of course shot down by Dana White during a Q&A session prior to UFC 193, saying that there is no truth to the claim that Aldo will not be showing up for UFC 194.

Therefore, unless the unforeseen happens, there is no factual claim that Aldo will not be appearing. Everything is quiet on his end, so the safe assumption is that the Brazilian champion is focusing, and well, getting ready for ‘the Notorious’.
