Things are heating up once more between Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid. The pair was again spotted, and this time, they weren't so shy about going public.

In a report by Hollywood Life, Malik and Hadid went on a date at The Nice Guy restaurant in Los Angeles. This came days after they were first spotted together at the after-party of the recently concluded American Music Awards. Fresh after their breakups, it looks like the two are ready for some romance.

"They were there on their first public date together. Things are going super well for them! Zayn is really into Gigi. He knows that girls like her don't come around often, so he is keeping her close," a source said.

The source also revealed that the two have been texting each other a lot even if they have just been hanging out for a few weeks. Malik, who admitted being close to his family, apparently likes the way Hadid talks about her mom a lot.

"He thinks she's so hot. He takes interest in her shoots and videos. He thinks she's sweet, too. She talks about her mom a lot and her family, and he likes that," the source claimed.

However, is it too soon for Hadid to be dating, especially since it's only been weeks after her split from Joe Jonas? It was rumored that the two broke up because of their busy schedules. However, if she decides to start dating Malik, then the situation might end up the same as the former One Direction member is busy with his solo career and his upcoming album.

Their exes Perrie Edwards and Joe Jonas might also dislike the idea of the two being seen together more frequently in public. Although there is no bad blood between Hadid and Jonas, there is definitely some tension between Malik and Edwards. The two dated for four years and got engaged. A couple of months ago, Malik decided to call off their engagement for reasons still unknown.

However, a source from Entertainment Online said that although the two are going out, Hadid is not ready to be in another relationship. At the moment, they are just friends who are hanging out with each other.

"She is not looking to jump into another relationship so soon. Gigi is a relationship-type kind of girl, but she wants to just have some fun and take time for herself and her career at the moment," the source said.
