Five syrian nationals were arrested by authorities in Honduras. According to Reuters, they were attempting to travel to the United States using stolen Greek passports.
Although they were detained, soon it was confirmed none of them had to do with the attacks in Paris last Friday as police reports.
The syrian men were arrested late on Tuesday in Tegucigalpa, Honduras' capital. They came from Costa Rica and were planning to go to the border of Guatemala.
Authorites noticed the lack of authenticity when they saw their photograph replacing the original one on the passport.
This happened while some goverments are discussing the migration policies they should take towards immigrants due to the Paris attacks.
